Mice: Using Cuteness to Avoid Capture for Decades

Some people find mice scary, often because they move so quickly and show up when they’re least expected. However, when you get a good look at mice, they have an undeniable cuteness to them. After all, they are furry little critters with big ears and big eyes.

Many truly think that mice are adorable, and it’s that cuteness factor that has helped some mice to avoid capture for years and years. Plenty of cartoon mice help to perpetuate the cute factor, too.

Are you one of those people who feel that the mice are just too adorable to exterminate from your home? Even though you might love their little faces, it’s time to learn a few hard, cold truths about them and what they could be doing to your health. There’s a huge difference between pet mice and rats that you can buy and those wild ones that infest your home and make it their own.

Having a Mouse Problem Is Worse than You Think

If you see one or two mice in your home, you’re just seeing a tiny portion of the problem. Mice breed rapidly, and your home is seen as a haven if you haven’t tried to get rid of them. In a matter of months, you could have hundreds of mice crawling around in the walls. Of course, they don’t stay in the walls. At night, they are running on the floors, the counters, furniture, and more.

Mice need to chew to maintain the length of their teeth. They will gnaw through insulation, wires, cables, drywall, rubber, plastic pipes, and even gas lines in some cases. It can be costly to repair, and it could prove to be dangerous. The rodents can also carry a range of diseases including hantavirus, salmonella, and lymphocytic choriomeningitis.

No matter how cute they might seem, mice are a danger. Deal with the mouse problem sooner rather than later.

What Should You Do About a Mouse Infestation?

Of course, it can be next to impossible to handle an infestation on your own. The best thing to do is to hire Mice Mob Exterminator. They can come to your home and determine the scope of the problem and create a plan to remove the mice. Choose an extermination company that will also clean and disinfect your home to remove any lingering traces of the mice.
